Pointe des Châteaux
10 minutes away: a spectacular 360° viewpoint, cliffs carved by the Atlantic, a monumental cross and views over La Désirade. Listed natural site.

Four suites, an infinity pool, a private three-hole golf course, and a private gate opening onto Manganao beach. A stone's throw from the sea, in a gated estate with single access point.
Daniel Erlong is no hotelier. He is a civil engineer and the founder of Guadeloupe's first construction company. He first designed this villa for himself — the land, the plans, the materials, down to the last tile. Three levels designed with architects, built by his own hands, on the touristic road of Saint-François.
His exigence shows everywhere: generous volumes in the great room, designer furniture, a kitchen built for memorable dinners, suites conceived as five-star hotel rooms — premium toiletries, premium bedding, connected speakers, 4K televisions. "The fittings are inspired by Le Lavandou," he says, in a nod to the French Riviera he holds dear. Today, he opens the doors of this house to those seeking what Saint-François does best: the comfort of a great home, with no compromise.

At first light, some settle on the terrace facing the lagoon, coffee in hand. Others swim a few lengths in the infinity pool, or prefer the gym facing the garden. The four air-conditioned, connected suites let everyone find their rhythm — including those who must work between two dives.
In the evening, everyone gathers around the great twelve-seat table. Board games, stories of the day, chilled wine. The villa unfolds across three levels served by a lift — practical for luggage, indispensable for accessibility. An EV charging station awaits electric vehicles. And the single gate of the estate guarantees what few addresses can promise by the sea: absolute peace, day and night.
Daniel Erlong, civil engineer, is the founder of Guadeloupe's first construction company. Villa Beach & Putt is his personal project, designed and built with the rigour of a contractor running his own site — every material chosen to withstand the tropical climate, every volume designed for the comfort of a long stay.
The three-hole golf course carved into the garden reveals his other passion: bringing home the discreet elegance of the French Riviera retreats he loves.
Beyond the tropical garden, Daniel Erlong has laid out what makes the villa unique in Guadeloupe: a private three-hole golf course, alternating natural and synthetic grass, with practice bunkers. "Golf is won on the short shots, on the putts," explains the enthusiast, who provides clubs and balls to his guests. No green fee, no booking: the course is yours for the duration of your stay.
A few steps further, a pétanque court awaits late afternoons in the shade of coconut trees. And at the end of the course, a private gate opens directly onto Manganao beach — white sand, turquoise lagoon, view of Marie-Galante, less than two hundred metres away. For those wishing to extend the day to eighteen holes, the international course designed by Robert Trent Jones lies two kilometres away: one of the finest golfs in the Caribbean.
